Protect your ensiled forage with our mantle film – used together with our bale wrap.
Mantle film
Contact us
Our mantle film enables silage bales to be made without nets. Used in combination with our high-quality bale wrap, it makes bales easy and convenient to handle while improving the preservation of energy and nutrient content.
Silage bales that are baled with our mantle film have a considerably higher density and more stable shape than those made with nets because the mantle film can be stretched tighter around the bales.
Our mantle film is patented (EP2516134) due to its unique recipe and manufacturing technique. Its main characteristic is its high elasticity, which allows the film to be pre-stretched at a high level in the baler and provide the highest bale output in the market.
We are the first manufacturer to produce a mantle film based on recycled material which offers the same properties and performance in the field as the non-recycled version.
There are a lot of advantages in switching from net to net replacement/mantle film.
Mantle film and bale wrap can be sorted in the same recycling fraction, the bales are easier to open and it’s much more efficient when using an automatic bale opener. It’s easier to open frozen silage bales during winter. The bales are more compact and due to that are easier to handle with a bale handler. Also, thanks to the additional film layers, there is less risk of puncturing film layers during wrapping and it offers more protection of the mantle side against mould.

Our mantle film is patented for its mechanical properties, especially the elasticity, which enables optimal efficiency and tear resistance on bales. In fact, our mantle film offers a 10-30% higher output per reel compared to other brands, which means lower cost per bale!

Yes! As with all our products, many field tests with farmers and contractors have been done all over the world in all different types of machines to make sure of the reliable performance. In addition to that, independent test done by the Swedish Agricultural University have proven that the silage quality increases significantly when using our mantle film instead of nets.

Each reel comes with our unique sleeve packaging, which is also patented!
It offers an edge protection for safe reel handling, is very easy to remove thanks to the one-piece design and is also 100% recyclable in the same fraction as our bale wrap and mantle film.

Our mantle film offers farmers and contractors a reliable and efficient solution for replacing the net wrap in combine machines, which has been patented for its outstanding properties.
We are the first company to offer an alternative based on recycled content to reduce the user’s carbon footprint without impacting wrapping performance or feed quality in any way.
All of our films are 100% recyclable.
Our Trioworld Loop mantle film contains minimum of 30% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content, which comes from used agricultural films. This helps close the baled silage plastic loop and decreases your carbon footprint by at least 50%.
Our mantle film offers several major benefits for the storage of silage and during the feeding process. Silage stretch film and mantle film can be opened and removed in a single step using an automatic opener. This means that manual handling can be minimised. The waste film can then all be recycled in the same waste fraction, which saves a lot of time-consuming work. If bales are wrapped with nets the silage can freeze in winter, meaning added work and a waste of valuable forage.
All our mantle film reels come with a unique one-piece sleeve packaging, which is also patented. It offers perfect edge protection so reels don’t get damaged during transport and handling. It is also a single material and can be recycled in the same fraction as mantle film and bale wrap.
