Building Circularity at scale
Trioworld is sharpened its organisation to accelerate growth and scale circular solutions by establishing a dedicated Recycling Division in 2025.
This strengthens governance in line with Trioworld’s growth ambitions and gives "circularity" the leadership focus and resources to move faster and deliver greater impact for customers.
With recycling operations across Sweden, Denmark, and France, the new division expands capacity and improves consistency, delivering a reliable supply of high-quality post-consumer recycled (PCR) material engineered to meet the same performance standards as Trioworld’s own films.
With our focus on in-house PCR and Triocircular closed-loop services, the result: less reliance on virgin plastic, stronger supply resilience, and circular solutions that scale, without compromising day-to-day performance.

Trioworld’s recycling division brings recycling operations, quality standards, and circular services under one leadership structure. This creates clearer accountability, faster decision-making, and more consistent execution across sites, supporting a reliable supply of high-quality post-consumer recycled (PCR) material that meets the performance requirements needed for film production.

State of the art recycling facility

Trioworld’s Korsberga recycling facility is the proof point of what “state-of-the-art” looks like in practice: next-generation recycling technology, tight quality control, and high-quality PCR production built to scale across multiple film applications, not just one stream. It’s also a clear signal of where we’re going next: expanding capacity, broadening feedstock, and creating the reliable PCR supply customers will need as demand and regulation accelerate.
That momentum is captured in this update on the Korsberga inauguration, highlighting the new lines, new applications, and Trioworld’s plan to increase capacity.

Real world results
Innovation matters because it’s how we turn big sustainability goals into repeatable, real-world results. What we’ve learned, again and again, is that progress comes from testing, measuring, and improving in small steps across the full value chain, then taking what works and scaling it.
That’s exactly what the SKILLS project in Apeldoorn is doing: proving circular stretch film is possible through hands-on collaboration, real trials, and measurable validation, so the learnings don’t stay in a pilot, they become scaled impact in how we recycle, compound, and produce film at performance levels customers can trust. Trioworld is taking learnings from SKILLS and applying them at our Korsberga Recycling Centre, strengthening our ability to deliver high-quality PCR at scale.

Traceability Matters
PCR traceability matters because customers need confidence that the recycled content in their products is real, consistent, and defensible—especially as sustainability claims face tighter scrutiny from auditors, retailers, brand owners, and regulators. When PCR inputs are traceable, customers can verify origin and chain-of-custody, reduce the risk of non-compliant or misrepresented material entering their supply, and make credible recycled-content and footprint claims without reputational exposure.
Traceability also improves quality control and batch-to-batch consistency, helping customers qualify materials faster, avoid production surprises, and maintain performance standards at scale. And when reporting requirements (like internal ESG metrics, customer scorecards, or EPR-related documentation) demand evidence—not just statements—traceable PCR provides the documentation backbone that supports procurement decisions and speeds up approvals. From here, you can link to our RecyClass certifications as third-party validation of the systems and controls behind that traceability.
