Strøjer Tegl

JØRGEN STRØJER HANSEN, CEO

High quality is what counts for Jørgen Strøjer, whether we're talking about suppliers or cars

In our 40 years together, Trioworld has always delivered high quality on time, says Jørgen Strøjer Hansen. His company, Strøjer Tegl, is located in Assens on the island of Funen in Denmark. It is a family business that has been in his family for generations. The family has manufactured brick here since the brickworks was founded in 1850.

“I’m the fifth generation, and I started working in the company when my father was diagnosed with cancer. I was 21,” explains Jørgen Strøjer Hansen, whose vision is for the brickworks to be the most innovative brickworks in Denmark. “Because while brick may be a several thousand year-old material, it still has enormous development potential. So many new areas of use are concealed in the clay, just waiting to be put into action,” says the passionate owner.

“The staff are fantastic”
Strøjer Tegl has worked with Trioworld for over 40 years, and Jørgen considers Trioworld to be more of a partner than a supplier. He describes the partnership as problem-free and stimulating. “Trioworld is a stable partner that always delivers high quality on time. It’s incredibly important to us that our production functions without any unnecessary shutdowns and problems, and a stable partner like Trioworld is worth its weight in gold in that arena,” he says. Over the passing years, the companies have grown together in many ways – the close partnership has contributed to both product development and to the development of brand new products. “Trioworld has always been quick to solve problems that have arisen for us, and you always have great ideas when it comes to product development. On several occasions, we’ve tested your innovations in our operation and together, we’ve created excellent solutions over the years,” says Jørgen. Jørgen does not hesitate when asked what the best part of Trioworld is. “I have to say your staff – you are truly sales minded, accommodating and always helpful. You make sure to solve problems the best way, and have continuous and close contact with us to make sure your products meet our expectations – that is invaluable for us,” he says.

An incredible car collection
Beyond his work, Jørgen has another passion in life: cars. And not just any cars, but cars with a unique and exciting history, like a graphite-grey Aston Martin that was in the James Bond film “Die Another Day”. And he doesn’t just have one or two cars in his garage: he has a unique collection of about 100 cars, including cars that have been owned by royalty, Le Mans cars, Grand Prix cars and race cars. “I’ve been interested in cars since childhood. My father was really into cars and we always talked cars at home,” says Jørgen, who bought his first car when he was just 14 years old. The Strøjer Collection exhibition was founded by Jørgen over 40 years ago and although it is relatively unknown among laypeople, it is quite familiar among connoisseurs, collectors, royals, and racers, and draws many visitors each year. “It’s a fantastic hobby – but my joy comes not from driving the cars, but rather from walking around the exhibition and just enjoying them. I want to share that feeling with others – which is why I opened up my collection to the public,” says Jørgen.

Stretch hood film

Stretch hood is a packaging method for pallet packaging that provides many advantages, not least compared to alternative methods – ranging from cost reductions to handling and marketing potential.
