For over 20 years my main tasks have been within product and process development, with a strong connection to the commercial side. Positions like material- and process developer, product manager, production manager, key account manager, R&D director and sustainability director have been titles on my business cards. During this time, I have been responsible for setting up a production site in China, setting the frame for the R&D hub in China within my business area, and doing the technical evaluation of potential acquisitions. I am the inventor of two patents within protective clothing. The last 5 years I have been at Trioworld, now with the responsibility of monitoring regulatory areas of interest, including identifying and initiating strategically important innovation. In practicality I am engaging in relevant initiatives like local and European projects, such as Circular Plastics Alliance, reference groups developing regulatory framework on different levels. I am very much engaged in standardisation, as Trioworld sees this as an important tool for the plastic industries transfer to circular business models. My brain is always in solution seeking mode, and outside working hours, I am a passionate veggie grower, nature lover, sailor (HR Monsun 31 #29) and hand crafter. To top it all off I am co-owner of three Icelandic horses (expensive lawn mowers), two dogs and some 100.000 bees.
