Cast stretch film

Cast stretch film is produced differently than blown stretch film. In this case the resin is  extruded through a linear die and oozes out onto large diameter chilling rollers. (Note that they may not actually be cold, but rather are much cooler than the semi-molten plastic.) Depending on the original thickness of extrusion, sometimes film is thinned to the target gauge by winding the resulting film faster than it is extruded.

The cast stretch film is a soft film that can reduce your packaging costs due to the film's high stretch ability. The most common application is easy to medium heavy pallets in all types of industries. The film is well suited for semi-automatic and fully automatic machines.
